if i could, i would have a uniform. not like private school Ursuline Academy high school uniform (although i LOVED THAT) and definitely not like prison uniform (mainly because of the colorations, i’m not good in orange). but really a lot of my clothes are the same things in different colors. summer is all dresses and strappy camis and when its cooler, i live in skinny jeans, tee shirts and a blazer (or would if i could). i swap out my open toe sandals for booties and heels for over-the-knee-boots and my everyday flats for combat boots.
what began .. well probably not began but .. serves as a staple of grunge fashion in the 90s, segued into becoming the pumpkin spice equivalent of footwear in the fall. the first sign of crisp air and females of all ages rock their leggings, long tees, flannel plaid and combat boots with chunky scarves from day 1. i personally still opt to pair it with my desired uniform, skinny jeans + white tee + blazer and a beanie, but in my opinion, these go with everything. even a mini dress if done right! slip on your coziest socks because i just found you your new go-to shoe.
